Appointments

Office hours are from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Fridays, unless otherwise stated.

In an effort to ensure that new or urgent symptoms are addressed in a timely manner, we’ve established an acute care clinic in our office for established patients. Our experienced nurse practitioners are able to see patients with acute conditions and appointments can usually be made on the same day.

Appointment changes or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. If you fail to show for 3 or more appointments without 24-hour notice, you may be asked to find another physician. A fee of $50 may be charged for failure to show for your scheduled appointment

Telephone Calls

When calling our office to speak to the nurse, be prepared to give all necessary information: Name, date of birth, reason for call and call back number. Often times, the nurses are in clinic seeing patients, we request that you leave a detailed message on the nurse’s voicemail.

All calls are returned in a timely manner. If you do not receive a call back within 24 hours, please contact the nurse to follow up. If you have an urgent issue, speak to a receptionist who can further assist you. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.

Prescription Refills

In the event you are in need of a refill, please contact your local or mail order pharmacy. The pharmacy will then send your refill request to our office. All refills are generally completed within 24 hours. Please do not call our office to see if your prescription has been filled, you should call your pharmacy. If more than 48 hours has passed, contact our office to ensure the request was received from the pharmacy. In an effort to prevent patients from having a lapse in medications, we recommend calling at least 7 days prior to running out of medication. Please note that if your insurance requires prior authorization for any medications, the patient is responsible for calling their insurance company to find out which medications are covered under their plan. This information is necessary before any medications can be filled.
